As a design engineer in our section, you will not only develop individual components, you will design and develop parts in a complex system that requires balancing of multiple requirements and properties.
We develop aftertreatment housings, chassis suspension, sensor installation, and inlet/outlet piping. You will be involved throughout the development process, from early concept phases to industrialization. Delivering solutions that meet performance, durability, and emission requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop aftertreatment components (sheet metal, cast iron, welding)
Work closely with engineering disciplines, including acoustics, strength and durability, simulation, sensor systems, and emissions performance to balancing of properties
Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to ensure technical quality in prototypes and industrialization
Our products are used by all TRATON brands, so global collaboration is part of daily work
Who You Are
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience working with CATIA
A few years of experience in product development
Knowledge of the product development process (One PDP)
Fluent in English (spoken and written). Swedish is a plus.
