About this role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on-site in Sweden. You will contribute your expertise across several technical areas, including Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Control Equipment, and Electrical Installations.
The role spans the full product development lifecycle, from concept development and detailed design to prototyping, testing, qualification, and production support. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining the associated technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop new electrical solutions and improve existing products in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Support projects throughout the design and development process, ensuring delivery in line with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Produce technical documentation, design reports, and engineering deliverables.
- Present technical solutions, results, and recommendations during design reviews and project meetings.
- Ensure compliance with established engineering processes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Provide support during product validation, implementation, and production phases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methods, tools, and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment enhancements, and technical development initiatives.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge within one or more of the following areas:
- Medium Voltage
- Low Voltage
- Control Equipment
- Electrical Installations
- Experience working in product development, engineering design, or technical project environments.
- Good understanding of project execution, planning, and technical coordination.
- Experience with engineering and documentation tools.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with COMOS, EPLAN, or NX is considered an advantage.
