At Outokumpu, we believe that strong performance starts with people. We are now looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our Helsinki Headquarters and support our global functions in doing their best work-every day.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to managers and employees across key corporate functions. You will combine practical, hands-on HR work with a broader understanding of how people and business goals connect. Working closely with Strategic HRBPs and HR Delivery teams, you will help ensure that our local practices are aligned, consistent, and supportive of our global direction.
You will also play an important role in maintaining a fair, well-functioning, and respectful work environment at our Helsinki HQ.
What you'll be doing Partnering with the business: Act as a trusted HR partner and coach for managers and employees across our HQ (~200 FTE), supporting functions such as IT, Finance, HR, Sustainability, Transformation, and Communications.
Keeping HR running smoothly in collaboration with HR Delvery: Deliver high-quality, day-to-day HR support-from onboarding and offboarding to performance management and employee relations.
Navigating labour relations: Work confidently with Finnish labour law and employee representatives, ensuring balanced, compliant, and constructive outcomes.
Connecting stakeholders: Collaborate with occupational healthcare, pension providers, and local partners, while working closely with our Tornio HR team to ensure alignment across sites.
Working across the matrix: Link local needs with global HR practices, partnering effectively with Centres of Excellence and Strategic HRBPs.
What you bring Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager, ideally in an international or matrix organisation
Strong, hands-on expertise in Finnish labour law and collective agreements (TES), with experience working with unions
A pragmatic mindset-you see the bigger picture but are equally comfortable rolling up your
