We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our Ferrochrome Commercial Team and support Outokumpu's global leadership in sustainable ferrochrome.
This is a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and contributing to the future development of our specialty ferrochrome portfolio. If you bring solid commercial experience, an understanding of the ferroalloys industry, and a passion for building long-term customer value, we would love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Drive revenue and margin growth across our ferrochrome product portfolio
Manage and grow end-user accounts within stainless and alloy steel segments
Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts in line with internal policies
Identify and convert new business opportunities in your assigned markets
Ensure an excellent customer experience in close collaboration with inside sales, logistics, and production teams
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budgeting and strategic planning
Provide market insights to support data-driven commercial decisions
Support the development and commercialization of new ferrochrome products
Represent Outokumpu in customer meetings and at industry events
What you bring
Strong understanding of the stainless and alloy steel industries and ferrochrome market dynamics
At least 5 years of commercial experience within the ferroalloys industry
A degree in Business, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field
Proven track record in managing strategic customer relationships and delivering growth
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel internationally when required
Familiarity with global commodity markets and pricing mechanisms
Multilingual skills are an advantage
