About this role

What you'll do:

As the Product Manager for the assigned 3ph Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and / or battery product families, you will be responsible for driving product strategy and profitable growth within Eaton Critical Power Solutions (CPS) portfolio for the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) market. In this role, you will be owning the complete product lifecycle including business case and scope definition, market requirements, development, market launch, maintenance and phase out. As product manager, you work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to develop and launch successful products that align with our business strategy and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • As the Product Manager for the assigned 3ph Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and / or battery product families, you will be responsible for driving product strategy and profitable growth within Eaton Critical Power Solutions (CPS) portfolio for the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) market. In this role, you will be owning the complete product lifecycle including business case and scope definition, market requirements, development, market launch, maintenance and phase out. As product manager, you work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to develop and launch successful products that align with our business strategy and customer needs.
  • Lead all product management activities for the assigned 3ph UPS and accessory products in EMEA region.
  • Define the overall product strategy and roadmap for the assigned product lines in alignment to the CPS strategic plan.
  • Define the pricing strategy in EMEA for assigned product lines, analyzing market pricing and closely monitoring end-to-end margins.
  • Initiate actions to increase profitability (e.g. cost-out actions, new product introduction, price management).
  • Track sales performance for assigned product lines, and drive the definition and deployment of growth initiatives as well as necessary corrective actions throughout EMEA to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
  • Gather voice of the customer and accumulate market knowledge of key targeted segments and competitive offerings
  • Investigate and evaluate new market/business opportunities, contributing to product line strategy planning
  • Enagage with Segment marketing to create strong value propositions.
  • Actively drive new product development projects from the specification of market requirements to the launch of new product.
  • Coordinate product marketing positioning and outbound messaging in EMEA for assigned product lines.
  • Drive the definition of marketing communication strategie
