About the role
As a Lead Control Engineer, you will design and implement control features for large-scale grid integration projects. You will bridge the gap between theoretical design and real-world application through laboratory testing and onsite commissioning.

Work tasks
This role involves end-to-end responsibility for control system implementation, from initial design and simulation to onsite commissioning and R&D.
Design control systems for high-power reactive power compensators.
Produce high-quality study documents and technical specifications.
Plan and execute control and protection testing in laboratory environments.
Manage system energizing and onsite commissioning of compensators.
Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and stakeholders.
Support technical tendering and equipment sourcing evaluations.
Conduct R&D activities to advance FACTS control system design.
We are looking for
Advanced knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering.
Understanding of control theory for grid-connected devices.
Knowledge of compensation systems and power electronics.
Experience using simulation tools such as PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, or RTDS.
Fluent written and oral English communication skills.
Have completed advanced academic studies in Power System Engineering or equivalent.
It is meritorious if you have
Experience with PSSE simulation software.
Knowledge of STATCOM and SVC technologies.
Previous experience in technical negotiations with stakeholders.
Willingness to travel for onsite commissioning.
