within our Global Business Services (GBS) Patient Safety team, you’ll help ensure the highest standards of pharmacovigilance, protecting patients and supporting the safe use of our medicines.

About the role:

As a Local Case Intake Advisor, you will manage the intake and processing of

Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)

at a local level, supporting designated AstraZeneca Marketing Companies.

Acting as a key liaison between local teams and Global Patient Safety, you’ll ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality pharmacovigilance operations.

What you’ll do:

Manage and process

adverse event reports

and ICSRs from post-marketed sources

Support

Health Authority interactions

and queries related to safety cases

Review, assess, and distribute safety data in line with regulatory requirements and SOPs

Contribute to

Quality Management Systems

, including audit readiness and compliance activities

Support pharmacovigilance activities across

organised data collection programs, digital channels, and partnerships

Identify and manage

product quality complaints (PQC)

and related safety reporting

Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy of pharmacovigilance data

Conduct literature searches and

regulatory database screening

where required

Collaborate closely with local Patient Safety teams and cross-functional stakeholders

Provide expertise and guidance to resolve local case intake issues

Essential skills & experience:

Degree in

Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences

Knowledge of

pharmacovigilance (PV)

and health authority regulations

Strong attention to detail and

analytical mindset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies

Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage moderate complexity
