About the Team
The South Europe Solution Consulting organization is a high‑impact team of domain experts and trusted advisors, spanning Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France. This team brings together Solution Consultants, Enterprise Architects, and People Managers, aligned to their respective markets and covering all customer segments and the full Workday portfolio across Finance, HCM, Planning, Analytics, and Industry solutions.

Senior Solution Consulting Director, South Europe
.
In this role, you will lead a growing organization of 45+ Workmates, including first‑line managers, Solution Consultants, and Enterprise Architects. You will be responsible for all segments (from Emerging and Mid‑Market through Large Enterprise and Strategic) and for the entire Workday portfolio.
You will drive an AI‑first, customer‑centric solution consulting strategy for South Europe, ensuring our teams are continually evolving their skills, stories, and selling motions to establish and reinforce Workday as the market‑leading AI platform for Finance, HR, and beyond.
Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Presales or Consulting in enterprise software, with strong exposure to Finance, HR, Planning, Analytics, or closely related domains. Minimum 3–5 years of people leadership experience in Presales / Solution Consulting, including management of managers and cross‑functional presales teams. Proven experience working with SaaS solutions (and ideally IaaS/PaaS ecosystems) across multiple segments and complex enterprise environments. Other Qualifications Demonstrated success leading large, diverse presales teams (30+ people), ideally across multiple countries and cultures. Strong track record of partnering with Sales Leadership to build pipeline, drive deal excellence, and exceed regional or segment targets. Deep understanding of the enterprise software landscape, including ERM/HCM/Finance/Planning/Analytics solutions and competitive dynamics. High AI fluency and passion for AI‑driven innovation , with the ability to translate AI concepts into compelling, business‑relevant narratives for executives and business stakeholders. Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence, with experience presenting to C‑suite audiences in both business and IT. Proven ability to build and scale high‑performing teams, foster inclusion, and create an environment where people can do their best work. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, combined with a willingness to be hands‑on and deeply involved in key customer engagements when needed. Fluency in English; additional proficiency in one or more South European languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French) is a strong plus .
