OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly analytical and customer-focused Insights Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role sits at the heart of our Insights Hub, partnering across multiple business areas to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance and enhance customer understanding.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven decision-making, combining customer, commercial, and operational insights to influence strategy across eCommerce and retail channels. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimise performance, and ensure the voice of the customer is embedded in key business processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Responsible for:

Gather, analyse and delivering actionable insights to optimise business performance within various spokes as part of the Insights Hub & spoke team. For example brand, marketing, eCommerce, commercial, customer & strategy, and operations.

Integrate insights from multiple data sources for a comprehensive business perspective on strategic challenges and processes.

Enhance forecasting models for key KPIs to support business performance.

Deliver ad hoc analysis as required to support business partners, projects and workstreams.

Collaborate with analytics leads & wider team to embed insights into business strategies and key processes such as the commercial process, trade, budgeting and forecasting.

Create clear, accurate and actionable dashboards, to meet the needs of your business partners, and develop the BI visualisations which democratise access to insights.

Collaborate with the Data Engineering and BI Engineering to facilitate cross-team visibility and prioritization of analytics requirements. Identifying, raising and managing risks to delivery with analytics managers.

Prioritise workload, to meet the needs of your business partners, ensuring availability of insights at the right time, to the right level of quality.

Follow the standardised analytics approaches and processes as relevant.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

Ability to understand business goals and translate them into data-driven strategies.

Ability to prioritise and focus analytical efforts on high-value areas to maximise business impact.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data.

Expertise in statistical modelling, regression analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

Experience in apparel-based businesses across eCommerce and physical retail.

Ability to translate business questions into data-driven insights.

Proficiency in Looker (or similar dashboarding tools) and GA4.

Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, joins, and cloud data warehouses.

Strong prioritisation and project management skills to focus on high-impact areas.

Clear and concise communicator, making complex data easy to understand and actionable.
