Job Summary:
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Assist in payroll processing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
- Work with external auditors when necessary
- Assist with general administrative accounting tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software preferably Visma Online and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Very good knowledge of Swedish VAT law, tax law, including cross-border service exchanges
