We are currently seeking an experienced Security Specialist for a long-term assignment within a large and security-sensitive public-sector environment in Sweden.

The consultant will play a key role in supporting security-related initiatives connected to development activities, governance, and implementation of IT solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, legal experts, and management to ensure compliance with security regulations and organizational requirements.

🔹 Main Responsibilities

Support and lead security-related activities within development and transformation initiatives

Analyze and interpret regulatory and compliance requirements

Assist with planning and implementation of security measures for both purchased and internally developed IT solutions

Translate legal and security requirements into practical organizational and operational processes

Collaborate with different business units and technical teams to strengthen security practices

Contribute to change management and continuous improvement initiatives

🔹 Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience within information/security-related roles

Recent experience working in security-sensitive environments

Experience supporting security work within development projects and IT initiatives

Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups

🔹 Preferred Experience

Experience working within government, public sector, municipalities, or large organizations

Experience handling classified or sensitive information

Knowledge of Swedish security regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks

Experience with organizational change management and business development
