Responsibilities
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Operations Technician to support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure within a mission-critical data center environment in Lappeenranta, Finland. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background and experience working with power distribution systems, industrial maintenance, or critical facilities operations.
- This role is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and safety of data center electrical and mechanical systems while supporting 24/7 operations.
- Critical Infrastructure OperationsOperate and maintain critical electrical systems including:UPS systems
- Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
- Transformers
- Backup generators
- ATS/STS equipment
- Battery systems
- Power distribution units (PDUs)
- Monitor facility systems using BMS/EPMS platforms.
- Perform routine inspections and operational checks of critical infrastructure.
- Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and alarms.
- Support emergency response and incident recovery activities.
