Beneq is looking for Field Service Engineer to join our Advanced ALD Business Unit in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you'll work closely with customers and advanced ALD equipment, supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of Beneq systems globally.
This is a hands-on and highly international role combining technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and field service expertise. You'll work in laboratories and cleanroom environments across Europe and globally while collaborating closely with Service, Engineering, Product Teams and Production team.

Responsibilities
- As a Field Service Engineer, you will support Beneq's ALD equipment throughout its lifecycle by performing installations, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and customer support activities at customer sites and remotely.
- You'll work closely with customers, internal technical teams, and external partners to ensure high equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction worldwide.
- This role includes extensive global travel, with approximately 150 travel days per year, including occasional short-notice assignments.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Perform installation and commissioning of ALD equipment at customer sites
- Execute preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repair activities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process-related issues
- Provide remote technical support and customer guidance
- Support customers in laboratories and cleanroom environments
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Teams, and Production teams
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability development activities
- Create and maintain service documentation and technical reports
