Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the Energy Segment within the Market Development team in ABB Marine Propulsion from a global perspective. You will build and maintain long-term relationships with customer stakeholders, open doors to new opportunities and drive the segment specific market development. The ideal candidate combines a holistic understanding of sales activities and processes in maritime industry within propulsion sales, a deep segment knowledge with a sharp commercial mindset, capable of structuring competitive yet profitable proposals and navigating complex requirements.

Job reporting to: Head of Market Development

You will be mainly accountable for:

Developing and maintaining the Energy Segment for ABB Marine Propulsion.

Build long-term relationships with ship owners, designers, and consultants to promote ABB Marine propulsion solutions within the segment.

Identifying and driving the development of market and sales opportunities.

Developing and executing sound sales strategies for the segment that expands our client base and extends global reach.

Stay tuned about market trends providing optimal solutions and incorporating client feedback for continuous improvement, including also representing ABB in trade events.

Managing administrative procedures in sales processes.
