Role description 💻

In this role you will join a multi-talented team developing backend services with a strong focus on Python. You will work on real-time and streaming applications, taking early-stage services and turning them into robust, production-ready systems.

Your work connects application logic with data engineering, ensuring that real-time data is reliably structured and flows smoothly into downstream pipelines.

Your responsibilities include developing new features, improving and maintaining existing services, writing automated tests, and collaborating closely with data and platform teams. There may also be opportunities to contribute to frontend development when needed.

We work with agile methodologies and value high-quality, well-tested code. You will enjoy this role if you like solving complex problems, working closely with others, and continuously improving systems and ways of working.

What do we expect from you? 🚀

Solid experience in backend development

Strong Python programming skills

Experience with real-time, streaming, or high-concurrency applications

Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Understanding of data engineering concepts (e.g. data pipelines, event streams)

General knowledge of cloud and infrastructure

Experience in writing automated tests

Team player mindset and experience working in agile environments
