As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own a critical part of that foundation.This is not a steady-state role. Ardoq is scaling fast, and the systems you work with are growing in complexity alongside us. You will be the kind of engineer who sees a brittle deployment pipeline and feels compelled to fix it properly, not just patch it. The same goes for the infrastructure underneath it — you are comfortable going deep, whether that means a shell on a node, a packet capture, or an incident that requires actual understanding rather than a restart. You will pay down technical debt with the same conviction you bring to building new capabilities, and you will leave the system meaningfully healthier than you found it.At Ardoq, you won't just follow a script. You will have the influence to shape technical direction and the ownership to see your solutions through to production.<h4>What you’ll do</h4><ul><li>Design, implement, and improve infrastructure and deployment systems across large, well-defined scopes — with a clear eye on reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.</li><li>Investigate and resolve complex, multi-layered infrastructure problems that span multiple components and environments.</li><li>Lead architecture-level contributions to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, observability, and security posture.</li><li>Proactively pay down high-complexity technical debt and design systems that prevent future issues from accumulating.</li><li>Collaborate across engineering, product, and security to align on requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure cross-team technical coherence.</li><li>Share knowledge openly — mentoring engineers on DevOps practices, tooling, and system thinking.</li><li>Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and process optimisation within the engineering team.</li></ul><h4>On a typical day, you will</h4>You’ll start by collaborating across disciplines to evaluate trade-offs for a new scalable feature.
