What You’ll Do As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the R&I team, you will serve as a trusted scientific expert in the field. Your key responsibilities will include: Engaging in high-level scientific exchange and building enduring peer-to-peer relationships with external experts Uncovering and communicating clinical insights and unmet medical needs in Switzerland to shape medical strategy and brand plans Collaborating with Regulatory, Market Access, Marketing, and other departments on field-related medical activities Supporting the lifecycle of respiratory compounds and leading scientific interactions for clinical research programs and externally sponsored research Representing AstraZeneca’s commitment to science and medical excellence in all external engagements Skills And Experience Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally as an MSL or within Medical Affairs University degree in a health-related scientific field (MD, PhD or equivalent) Proficiency in German, English is essential. French and/or Italian is desirable. Solid understanding of respiratory diseases is advantageous Strong communication and presentation skills suited to diverse audiences Active driving licence for frequent field engagement
