At AstraZeneca, we are committed to transforming care through science, innovation, and partnership. We believe that improving patient outcomes requires more than medicines alone. It also means working closely with healthcare systems to identify unmet needs, redesign care pathways, and implement scalable solutions that make a meaningful difference for patients and professionals.
We are looking for a Health Innovation Partner to join our team. This is a non-promotional field-based role focused on the design, deployment, and project management of healthcare innovation solutions at both account and regional level. The role will support initiatives across Primary and Secondary Care, identifying opportunities to improve patient pathways and helping to implement and scale innovative solutions within the Respiratory, Immunology & Infectious Diseases area.
As a Health Innovation Partner, you will work closely with Innovation Directors, IT Leads, and Healthcare Professionals to position AstraZeneca as a trusted partner of choice. You will also generate valuable insights into pathway pain points and identify opportunities to develop new solutions or build on existing initiatives.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for healthcare innovation initiatives in the field, working in close coordination with cross-functional internal teams. You will identify regional and local healthcare system needs and opportunities, developing a strong understanding of patient pathways from diagnosis through to improved access to care within the disease areas in scope.
You will actively map healthcare system initiatives and gather insights that can contribute to the improvement of care processes. You will identify and prioritise accounts for implementation and scale-up of innovation projects, engage selected stakeholders, and present relevant proposals to secure buy-in.
You will also take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of healthcare innovation solutions, acting as a project manager to coordinate activities, monitor progress, and ensure delivery against timelines and objectives. In addition, you will track and report on key performance indicators to support measurement of the impact of implemented projects.
