Responsibilities

  • The Studio engineer is the link between engineering and design, communicating 3D-data and information (criteria) between the relevant parties. The studio engineer works to ensure the best-balanced solution, both technically and aesthetically.
  • In this role you will play a key role in:
  • Generate, communicate and evaluate proposals/solutions/concept from styling and engineering through sketches and CAD.
  • Manage, review and release Digital shape models from surface modelers to engineering counterparts.
  • Be a central figure for information and stakeholders connected to parts relevant for industrial design.
  • Your Profile
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Work experience from mechanical engineering 4-6 years minimum.
  • High level CAD knowledge of Catia & Enovia.
  • Good knowledge of different manufacturing methods.
  • High understanding of industrial design.
  • Knowledge of high level surfacing – preferably also with basic knowledge of styling surfacing tools (Alias / ICEM Surf / Clay modeling).
