Role Summary

Join our Special Vehicles division and contribute to the development of customized transport solutions, including defence and other specialized applications.

As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating unique customer requirements into Scania’s electronic architecture while supporting the development of in-house systems and software. You will work across the full vehicle system and gain a deep understanding of Scania and TRATON’s software ecosystem, from concept and development to production and aftersales.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technical profile who enjoys both hands-on engineering and system-level thinking, and thrives in a dynamic environment with real customer impact.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze and implement special customer requirements within Scania’s electronic architecture

Implement and adapt embedded software solutions in C/C++ to support specialized vehicle functionalities and customer-specific requirements

Lead and coordinate complex assignments across multiple systems and teams

Develop and maintain specialized functions for defense and special vehicles

Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration

Investigate and resolve system and software deviations occurring in field operations and production, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions

Evaluate the technical feasibility of after-sales rebu
