Are you interested in working at the intersection of Accounting, Finance Operations, and Data Automation? Do you enjoy working with large datasets, understanding financial processes, reconciling complex transaction flows, and improving recurring tasks through automation?
For our Finance team, we are looking for a Junior Finance Operations Manager (m/f/x) who brings a solid accounting foundation, strong data affinity, and the motivation to build scalable finance processes in a fast-growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone with first experience in accounting, audit, or finance operations who wants to move beyond classic accounting tasks and grow into a more technical Finance Operations role.
WHO YOU ARE:
You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
You bring around 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance operations, or a similar finance-related role.
You have a strong affinity for large datasets, reconciliations, payment flows, and structured financial data.
You enjoy turning complex data into clear insights, identifying discrepancies, and building scalable solutions instead of relying on manual workarounds.
You have strong Excel skills and experience with Looker or similar BI/reporting tools.
You have experience with, or a strong motivation to develop further in, Python or similar automation approaches.
You are excited about using automation, AI, and digital tools to make finance processes faster, smarter, and more reliable.
You have a strong eye for detail, work accurately, and care about data quality and consistency.
You are analytical, hands-on, and able to solve problems in a practical way.
You enjoy communicating with internal teams and external sellers, especially when helping them understand finance-related data and reports.
You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
Location & eligibility: This role is open to candidates based in Europe (including UK) only with a valid right to work.
