This position reports to: Quality Control Manager.

Your role and Responsibilities

If you’re driven by problem‑solving, collaboration, and improving how things work, this role puts you right at the heart of our production flow. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll take ownership of supplier‑related deviations, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure that the materials entering our factories meet the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role where your technical expertise and communication skills truly make an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier claims — Receive, document, and process quality issues in our SAP system, ensuring accurate and timely handling.
  • Lead root‑cause investigations — Request and follow up on 8D reports, ensuring corrective actions are well‑defined and completed.
  • Coordinate material controls — Initiate warehouse inspections and decide on incoming inspection needs for future deliveries.
  • Drive improvement activities — Lead initiatives related to purchased materials and internal processes.
  • Perform supplier audits — Conduct process audits both within Sweden and internationally.
  • Qualifications for the role
  • Strong technical understanding — Through experience or a relevant university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
  • Experience in manufacturing — Familiarity with production environments and industrial processes is beneficial.
  • Analytical mindset — Ability to question unclear information and identify gaps.
  • Excellent communication skills — Comfortable collaborating across all organizational levels, as well as with suppliers and customers.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English — Confident in both spoken and written communication.
