As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technical leadership, driving innovative solutions and ensuring successful project delivery. You will lead the design team, work closely with Project Managers on the Delivery teams, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary group of engineers to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technical leadership, driving innovative solutions and ensuring successful project delivery. You will lead the design team, work closely with Project Managers on the Delivery teams, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary group of engineers to achieve outstanding results.
  • In this role you will play a key role in:
  • Lead and execute the technical plan by assessing design partners, supporting client counterparts, and ensuring timely, high‑quality technical delivery.
  • Apply GD&T principles, automotive technical standards, and advanced design methodologies - leveraging tools such as CATIA; to deliver high‑quality, manufacturable components that optimise vehicle performance and production efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain alignment across delivery teams and influence successful project outcomes.
  • Skilled in scheduling technical deliverables while applying DfM practices, assembly and production drawings, and cross functional collaboration to drive on time, high quality results.
  • Your Profile
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in product development as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5.
  • Proven ability to implement GD&T on engineering drawings and interpret production drawings.
  • Skilled in scheduling technical deliverables and driving on-time results.
  • Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, and working with cross-functional teams.
