Job Description We are currently looking for a Senior or Expert Data Engineer to join a large-scale data transformation initiative at a global retail organization. This assignment is part of a strategic effort to build modern data platforms and enable a truly data-driven organization.
In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining data products within a Data Mesh architecture, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust SSAS cubes (tabular or multidimensional) to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- Build, optimize, and maintain SQL-based ETL pipelines and data models.
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and governance across data products.
- Migrate or integrate existing on-premise data solutions to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Contribute to the development of data-intensive solutions within a modern data platform.
