We are looking for a highly skilled senior Android Engineer to join our mobile team in Stockholm. You’ll work hands-on at architectural scale - shaping our mobile architecture, guiding technical decisions, mentoring others, and building new features for millions of aviation enthusiasts. At Flightradar24, you’ll join a diverse, international team with over 30 nationalities represented, working together to push the boundaries of aviation data.
Note that this position requires that you are able to work in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation is not offered for this role.
What you’ll do
Build and deliver new features for our Android app used by millions of users worldwide.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code using modern Android frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers, designers, QAs, backend engineers and product owners to create seamless user experiences.
Contribute to architecture discussions and help evolve our app toward a modular, scalable design.
Continuously refactor and modernize the codebase using the latest Android technologies and libraries.
Strengthen our automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable, reliable, and fast releases.
Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Take part in release coordination and ensure smooth deployment processes.
