About this role

ALTEN Gothenburg is now looking for passionate and driven HIL developers with experience in dSPACE to join our expanding automotive team.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with leading vehicle manufacturers and suppliers in exciting R&D projects within testing and verification.

About the role

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing tests in advanced HIL environments. You will contribute to ensuring high quality and reliability of embedded automotive systems.

Your main responsibilities include:

Development, configuration, and maintenance of HIL setups using dSPACE tools

Test automation using AutomationDesk and Python

Test execution and analysis in ControlDesk

Development of automated test frameworks and scripts

Integration and testing using Vector CANoe

Verification and validation of ECUs and vehicle functions

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Close collaboration with system, software, and test teams

Your profile

A BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience in automotive testing

Strong hands-on experience with:

dSPACE (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk)

Python for test automation

Vector CANoe

Solid knowledge of in-vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)

Experience working with HIL environments

Swedish or EU driver’slicense

Experience from local OEMs in Gothenburg, Sweden
