About this role

What will you be doing?

In this role, you are responsible for the electrical integration of systems on board. You translate client requirements and technical specifications into a complete design. Working closely with colleagues and other suppliers, you help shape the best possible solution—while safeguarding the bigger picture and preventing bottlenecks.

Your responsibilities include:

Defining system requirements and interface specifications

Coordinating interfaces with subcontractors and clients

Determining required materials and preparing production documentation

Monitoring progress and reporting according to project planning

You’ll work closely with the Technical Project Manager and fellow engineers. Your role is crucial to ensuring a fully functioning end result.

Who are you?

You’re technically skilled, well-organised, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. You actively seek connection with others and have experience working with complex systems in a maritime context.

You bring:

A bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering

Experience as a Hardware Engineer, preferably in shipbuilding

Knowledge of shipboard systems and electrical integration

Strong organisational and communication skills
