What will you be doing?
In this role, you will design the complete electrical power systems on board vessels—covering power generation, storage, and distribution. Sustainability and innovation play a key role, with hybrid systems often part of the solution. You’ll collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager, who holds final responsibility for the design.
Your responsibilities include:
Designing systems based on client requirements and maritime regulations
Delivering technical solutions within the agreed budget and timeline
Identifying deviations within the project scope and taking proactive action
Reporting progress and ensuring clear communication throughout the project
You'll work on projects that truly matter in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.

A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €5,500 (full-time)

Who are you?
You have experience as a hardware engineer and feel at home in complex electrical engineering projects. You look beyond your own field and contribute actively to finding the best overall system solution. You’re both a strong team player and comfortable taking ownership independently.
You bring:
A bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering
Several years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of shipboard systems and maritime electrical engineering
Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
