As Global Category Manager, you lead and govern category work within your area of responsibility. The role focuses on developing and executing category strategies, driving sourcing initiatives, and ensuring implementation, compliance, and value realization across the organization.

Job responsibilities

Lead and manage cross-functional category teams at a strategic level

Develop, maintain, and govern category strategies within your scope

Identify, prepare, and lead strategic sourcing projects end-to-end

Negotiate, conclude, and implement supplier contacts

Drive strategic supplier management, including contract governance and compliance

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers

Location and flexibility

The position is based in Sandviken (Mossvägen) and offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work remotely every other week.

With a strong commercial mindset, you identify how to secure maximum value from supplier contracts and drive sustainable sourcing outcomes.
