Beneq is looking for a Process Development Manager to join our Advanced ALD Business Unit in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you’ll lead and contribute to advanced ALD process development activities supporting our research and semiconductor customers worldwide.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining approximately 80% process development work and 20% team leadership and coordination. You will manage a small team of two Process Development Engineers while remaining deeply involved in experimental work, process optimization, and customer-driven development projects.
You’ll work closely with customers, Product Management, Engineering, and application experts to develop and optimize ALD processes that demonstrate the full value of Beneq’s advanced ALD solutions.

Responsibilities
- As a Process Development Manager, you will lead and execute ALD process development activities focused on developing new and optimized thin film processes for advanced applications and customer needs.
- You will combine hands-on laboratory and cleanroom work with team coordination responsibilities, supporting project prioritization, development planning, and daily guidance for the Process Development team.
- The role combines technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, customer interaction, and people leadership in an international high-tech environment.
