What’s the role

Shell Mobility is the world’s largest fuels retailer, with more than 50,000 sites across 60 countries, serving over 30 million customers every day with fuel, food, coffee, and convenience products. Within this global network, the Benelux & France cluster operates nearly 1,000 service stations across four countries, supporting private customers, fleet drivers, and truck drivers. As part of our Powering Progress strategy, we are driving the mobility transition by making cleaner mobility seamless and enjoyable – enhancing our fuels portfolio, expanding EV charging, and delivering an outstanding convenience retail offer that puts customers first and elevates every journey.

Within this context, Starbucks plays a vital role in strengthening Shell’s premium convenience retail proposition across BeNeFrux, driving brand perception, customer frequency, and foodservice profitability. As Category Manager in Starbucks Stores, you will be fully accountable for the end-to-end commercial performance, concept execution, and continuous development of the Starbucks offer. You will act as the key commercial and operational interface between Starbucks, regional Shell stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring a high-quality, consistent customer experience while unlocking growth and value across the network.

What you’ll be doing

Own the end-to-end performance of the Starbucks Stores category across BeNeFrux, delivering against commercial and operational targets

Carry full category P&L accountability, driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability

Define and execute the Starbucks category strategy, aligned with broader convenience retail and mobility objectives

Serve as the primary commercial interface with Starbucks, fostering a strong, value-driven partnership

Drive operational excellence, ensuring brand standards, governance, and compliance across all locations

Lead innovation initiatives, including pilots and multi-market rollouts, to enhance the customer offer and experience

What you bring

Proven experience in category management or within branded foodservice

Strong analytical skills, with a high affinity for working with data (e.g., Excel and reporting tools)

Solid commercial acumen, including experience managing P&L responsibilities

Exposure to and experience working with international brand partners

Strong stakeholder engagement and project management capabilities

A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach, combined with a hands-on mindset

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate cross-functionally
