Responsibilities

  • Mapbox is looking for a talented and innovated Software Development Engineer II to join our Studio team.
  • As a Software Development Engineer II (Fullstack), you can expect to:Lead contributions to Mapbox Studio, our flagship map design tool. Studio is a complex React / Redux app that requires fluency in Javascript, Typescript, and web technologies. Ship simple, approachable, performant, testable code.
  • Facilitate and make informed technical decisions that drive the long term vision for maps at Mapbox.
  • Build workflow tools that enable our map designers to create beautiful maps faster and easier.
  • Solve complex architecture problems in an extensible, maintainable way. Bring clarity to complex technical problems across the organization.
  • Participate in the design process
