Business Practice Manager Lead for Finland and Norway

to help shape and strengthen our business practice and compliance framework across both countries.

This role offers a balanced mix of hands-on ownership and cross-country coordination. You will take responsibility for business practice activities in Finland, while also guiding and coordinating the work through the Business Practice Manager in Norway who reports to you.

You will be a key point of contact for Regional and Global Compliance and a trusted partner to the Human Health organization on the Code of Practice, internal Standards and Policies, compliance and ethical practices, HCP interactions, and data privacy topics. With a forward-looking mindset, you will also help support future data-driven and digital solutions that improve how we work.

You will leverage modern digital tools and AI-enabled technologies in day-to-day work to analyze information, generate insights, and support evidence-based decisions where applicable.

The role is a member of the Finland-Norway Core Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the local compliance and business practice framework for Finland and Norway
  • Translate global policies, standards, and codes into clear local procedures and ways of working
  • Act as the primary senior point of contact for compliance and business practice topics across both markets
  • Support the Managing Director and leadership team in fostering a compliant and ethical culture
  • Lead and coordinate local compliance committee activities
  • Support local SOP management and ensure procedures remain relevant and practical
  • Guide colleagues on compliance questions, processes, and systems
  • Conduct regular assessments, identify improvement areas, and help drive actions
  • Lead Concept Review Board activities
  • Act as primary contact for audits, including preparation, readiness, and issue resolution
  • Support internal investigations as needed
  • Oversee risk assessment processes and proactively escalate emerging risks
  • Lead compliance reporting for EUCAN / Global
  • Serve as Local Data Steward, EFPIA reporting lead and Data Privacy Steward
  • Support local rollout of the global Compliance Program
  • Lead and coach the local Business Practice Manager, including objective setting, feedback, capability development, and task coordination

Requirements

  • You will bring:
  • A university degree
  • Experience in a global organization, preferably in a matrix structure
  • Experience with audit processes and compliance framework execution
  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Strong business acumen
  • Diplomacy, negotiation skills, and cultural awareness
  • High ethical standards and a visible commitment to integrity
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions
  • A track record of building trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Business proficient in Finnish and English
