Verification & Validation Engineer - Automotive

About this role

Responsibilities

• We are looking for Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineers with strong background from the automotive industry, including heavy vehicles and passenger cars. In this role, you will work with testing, verification, and validation of advanced vehicle systems, including autonomous and driver-assistance technologies. As a V&V Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicle functionality, safety, and system performance throughout the development and testing process
• In this role you will play a key role in:
• Perform and monitor vehicle tests in various environments, including proving grounds and public roads
• Operate test vehicles and take manual control when required
• Manage onboard measurement systems and collect test data
• Identify, document, and report deviations and system issues
• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements
• Your profile
• Valid driving license (B required; C/CE is highly meritorious)
• Experience in automotive testing, V&V, or vehicle development
• Experience driving passenger cars and/or heavy vehicles in test environments
• Strong safety mindset with ability to stay focused during long test sessions
• Good technical understanding of vehicle systems, sensors, and data tools
• Note: For this position you need to have a valid Swedish work permit and/or Swedish residency.
