Assignment Description
We are currently looking for a Production Technician – Assembly
What You Will Work On
Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly area
Contribute to strategic and operational production development activities
Prevent, monitor, and follow up on safety incidents and compliance requirements
Ensure a safe and sustainable working environment
Improve efficiency and production performance through OEE-focused initiatives
Implement and monitor actions to improve equipment availability, quality, and productivity
Support process quality assurance and operational stability
Reduce planned and unplanned production downtime
Analyze production costs and identify optimization and savings opportunities
Develop and maintain production standards and work instructions
Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve resource utilization
Collaborate across production, engineering, and support functions to strengthen operational performance
What You Bring
Post-secondary education, preferably an Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
Training and/or practical experience with Lean methodologies and tools such as:
5S
VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
Kaizen
SMED
Poka Yoke
Strong understanding of OEE systems and production performance measurement
Experience working in project-based production improvement initiatives
Minimum 5 years of experience within production environments
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or leadership-oriented role
Basic understanding of automation and its impact on efficient production
Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset
Ability to ma
