SAP Data Migration Consultant

The opportunity

EY is expanding its Nordic SAP practice as clients transition from legacy ERP landscapes to SAP S/4HANA through large‑scale transformation programs. You will work on complex, international SAP programs where high‑quality data enables business continuity, insight and long‑term value. Supported by EY’s global SAP and data community, as well as strong investments in AI and advanced analytics, you will help clients navigate one of the most critical aspects of S/4HANA transformations. At EY, we work in a flexible hybrid model, combining remote work, client engagements and time in the office. To support collaboration and team connection, this role involves regular presence at our Helsinki office.

Your role responsibilities

As an SAP Data Migration Consultant, you will lead and contribute to data migration workstreams within SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. You will define data migration strategies, scope and detailed plans for assigned data objects, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.

Your role includes driving data quality assessments and supporting data cleansing activities to prepare high‑quality data for migration. You will facilitate migration solution design by defining data mappings, transformation rules and field‑level mapping documentation, while maintaining clear and structured migration design documents and specifications.

You will collaborate closely with data owners, functional consultants and technical developers throughout the migration process. You will also manage data validation testing, mock migration cycles and cutover activities to support smooth go‑live transitions, ensuring data readiness at every stage.
