lung cancer. Your work will strengthen partnerships with external experts, inform strategic decisions, and bring our transformative medicines to the patients who need them most.

Accountabilities

Scientific Exchange Leadership:

Deliver high-quality, non-promotional scientific presentations and

facilitate

evidence-based discussions aligned to global and local Medical Affairs plans, raising understanding of our medicines and the science behind them.

Evidence Gap Identification:

Engage with external specialists to

identify

unmet medical needs and evidence gaps, channeling field insights to shape evidence generation and decision-making.

External Expert Development:

Build and

maintain

trusted relationships with Key External Experts, Health Care Professionals, and Clinical Investigators across Toscana and Umbria to catalyze collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Trial Support:

Partner with Medical Advisors/Medical Lead and Clinical Operations to support national and international clinical trials, including site identification, communication, and ongoing scientific engagement.

Competitive Intelligence:

Provide

medical input that sharpens competitive insights and informs medical strategy, ensuring we act on the latest developments in lung cancer care.

Launch Readiness and New TA Mapping:

Contribute medical

expertise

to preparation and execution of product launches and exploration of new therapeutic areas, ensuring robust, compliant scientific engagement.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

Work in close alignment with internal teams to ensure compliant execution of Medical Affairs activities, turning field insights into actions that improve patient outcomes and business value.

Essential Skills/Experience

Scientific Degree,

Master

or Doctorate Degree in the relevant field of study

Fundamental knowledge of basic research, drug development, clinical

environment

Detailed knowledge of the local regulatory requirements related to medical affairs activities

Ability to work in team and in alliance

Leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills

Project management experience

Understanding of written/spoken English

Domicile in the area

Desirable Skills/Experience

Qualified Doctor in the relevant Therapeutic Area

Previous

experience as MSL or Medical Advisor or other activities within the Medical Department roles

Experience in

oncology field

Experience in mapping new TA(s) and product launch preparation and

execution Communication

skills, including communicating detailed technical, scientific, or medical information

Experience in clinical trials

Experience in product launch
