We are looking for a development-oriented and proactive

Specialist, Record to Report (General Ledger)

to join our Finance Operations team

In this role, your focus will be on general ledger processes and activities, period-end closing, and continuous process improvement across Fazer Group companies. You will work as part of a collaborative R2R team, supporting multiple entities and contributing to the delivery of high-quality and standardised accounting processes. You will take ownership of defined sub-processes while working closely with experienced colleagues responsible for end-to-end delivery across larger entities, offering strong opportunities for learning and development.

The role combines general accounting work with a strong process and systems perspective, including working with different finance tools and participating in testing and development activities across our Finance Operations system landscape, such as our ongoing S/4HANA-based Future ERP and Central Finance (CFIN) transformation.

Your key responsibilities: Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks in line with local GAAP, IFRS and Group guidelines

Support process harmonisation and standardisation across entities

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development of tools, automation, reporting and ways of working

Work actively with finance systems and tools

Participate in Finance Operations system-related development and testing activities (e.g. UAT, validation, data checks)

Collaborate with Finance Operations colleagues, business stakeholders and external partners

We work mainly onsite at our office in Vaarala. This is a permanent position.
