Our Employment team in Helsinki is looking for a new colleague to join our growing practice. In this role, you will advise Finnish and international clients on a broad range of employment law matters in a changing business environment. We are looking for an active, commercially minded employment lawyer who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with clients and colleagues, and contributing to the development of the practice. The role is best suited for a lawyer with approximately 5-6 years of relevant experience, although we are open to considering candidates with at least 3 years of strong employment law experience.
We are looking for a lawyer with a solid theoretical understanding of employment law and the ability to apply that knowledge in a practical, solution-oriented way. The ideal candidate has experience advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters and is ready to take an active role in client work, matter management and business development. You may already be able to manage complex legal matters independently, or you may be at a stage where you are ready to take the next step towards becoming a trusted advisor. We particularly value:At least 3 years of relevant employment law experience, preferably closer to 5-6 years. Strong knowledge of Finnish employment law and a genuine interest in developing deep expertise in the field. A proactive, energetic and hands-on attitude. The ability to work independently while also collaborating closely within a team. A strong client service mindset and the ability to understand clients' business needs. Full professional proficiency in both Finnish and English. Interest in, or experience with, equality, non-discrimination, pay transparency and other increasingly important regulatory employment topics. Interest in litigation and dispute resolution, and willingness to develop further experience in employment-related court proceedings. A Finnish Attorney-at-Law background is welcome but n
