Job Description

The Financial Settlements team is part of Global Financial Operations and is responsible for the accurate and timely settlement of card‑scheme and payment‑related transactions across multiple currencies and regions. The team works closely with Treasury, Accounting, Reconciliations, and external partners to ensure funds are received, recorded, and reconciled in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Settlements team with day‑to‑day operational tasks, including preparation and organisation of settlement data and files
  • Perform basic data checks and reconciliations to support settlement accuracy, under supervision
  • Help update process documentation, templates, and supporting materials to ensure procedures are current and well documented
  • Support the team with investigation and tracking of settlement queries and open items
  • Work closely with team members across Settlements, Reconciliations, and Treasury while developing an understanding of financial operations and controls

  • Basic qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
