Boskalis Terramare, one of the leading marine construction companies in the Nordics, is now looking for a Nautical Superintendent to ensure safe, efficient and compliant vessel operations while supporting complex marine projects. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on maritime expertise with a broader operational and advisory role within a global organization.

The Nautical Superintendent acts as a key link between vessels, fleet management, and project teams. You will support crews and stakeholders in all nautical aspects of vessel management, operations, and performance. During repair, modification and new building phases, you will coordinate and ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your responsibilities

Supporting vessel crews in operational activities and ship management in line with procedures and compliance requirements

Acting as a nautical expert for Fleet and Project Teams and coordinating between stakeholders

Supporting business and project teams throughout all phases of project preparation and execution

Monitoring vessel performance based on defined nautical KPIs and benchmarking against industry standards

Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations through inspections, audits and follow-up actions

Participating in dockings, modifications and new building processes from a nautical perspective

Carrying out or supporting accident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented

Promoting SHE-Q policies and ensuring safe working practices

Your qualities

5-10 years of relevant experience in the marine sector and seagoing background as Chief Officer or Master, or in another similar role

Strong understanding of vessel operations, onboard systems and international maritime regulations

Experience in vessel operations, inspections, audits and performance monitoring

Structured and proactive way of working, with the ability to make sound deci
