About this role

Job Description

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.

5–7+ years of experience in HIL/SIL test environment development and maintenance.

Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems and test setups.

Proficiency in Python and/or CAPL for automation and scripting.

Experience with Simulink models and signal/database updates.

Understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR-based architectures (good to have).

Job Responsibilities

Designing, maintaining, and optimizing dSPACE HIL test environments to support verification and validation activities.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into test and build environments.

Troubleshooting build failures, test environment issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks within CI/CD pipelines.

Performing hardware and software debugging using tools such as Lauterbach (Trace32).

Supporting function teams in diagnosing and resolving Software Component (SWC) issues.

Developing and maintaining test automation scripts using Python and CAPL.

Updating and managing Simulink environments, including signal database changes and model synchronization.

Conducting system-level testing to validate software and hardware performance.

Analyzing test results and resolving issues to improve system reliability and stability.

As a Build & Test System Engineer (HIL), you will work at the forefront of software verification and validation for leading automotive programs. You will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing HIL environments, supporting software integration, and enabling efficient testing and debugging across embedded systems and vehicle platforms.
