About the Role You will join a major data transformation in the retail sector, where modern data solutions are being built and migrated in a cloud-based environment. This is a hands-on role for you who enjoy solving real engineering challenges close to the platform, the pipelines, and the migration work itself. You will work with modern GCP services and help shape robust, scalable data flows that support a broader Data Move initiative. The role suits you if you like combining practical implementation with a strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation, and data engineering best practices. Job DescriptionYou will build and migrate cloud-based data solutions in a modern engineering environment. You will develop and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer. You will write and optimize data transformations using SQL, Python, and DBT. You will contribute to infrastructure automation through Terraform. You will work with version control and collaborative development workflows in GitHub. You will support DevOps ways of working, including CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to move data solutions forward in an Agile setup. You will help ensure that data solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the migration scope.
