Job Description: MS&T Process Chemist At Ipsen, we’re committed to making a real impact every day for patients and society. We are currently offering a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity within our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) team, where you’ll apply your chemistry expertise to support and optimise API manufacturing processes in a highly regulated environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly contribute, take ownership, and drive technical outcomes from day one. What you’ll do Provide synthetic chemistry expertise to support development, scale-up and optimisation of peptide APIs Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements across development and commercial manufacturing Lead and support investigations into process events, including root cause analysis and CAPAs Review technical data and produce clear, high-quality reports Ensure compliant documentation in line with GxP and data integrity principles Support process validation activities, including protocol and report generation What you’ll bring Strong synthetic chemistry experience within a regulated pharmaceutical or API environment Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues Experience supporting process optimisation, validation, and transfer activities Strong data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple activities Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work cross-functionally Why Ipsen Join a team where you can contribute to innovative manufacturing processes and continuous improvement, while making a tangible difference to patients globally.
