Development Engineer

We are looking for a Development Engineer to Delivery Centre Sustainable Technology Hub.

The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland and no other locations can be considered. This position is on-site job.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Development Engineer your work will include developing STH production environment including facilities, methods, processes & way of working. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of Product Delivery DC-STH organisation with diverse expertise .

Your work will focus on these responsibilities: Lead and execute development projects by planning, implementing, and continuously improving product development models and ways of working in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.

Utilize development tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, problem-solving techniques, time studies, and LEAN methods to enhance production processes.

Manage and communicate with key stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring smooth project execution in both Finnish and English.

Build strong development capabilities by fostering continuous improvement in production environments, methods, and organizational know-how.

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar

DC STH Product portfolio manufacturing development experience

DC STH Manufacturing ecosystem know how

Experience of MS Office tools, Siemens NX and Teamcenter

Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English
