Machinery & HVAC Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Machinery & HVAC Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects within the Machinery & HVAC discipline. In this role, you will be responsible for project planning, coordination, and delivery, working closely with engineering teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Machinery & HVAC projects from planning to delivery.
- Coordinate engineering activities across basic and detailed design phases.
- Act as the main project interface toward clients and internal stakeholders.
- Plan project schedules, milestones, and resource needs.
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Identify risks, manage changes, and assess their impact on project execution.
- Support sales with project planning input and cost estimations.
- Participate in project meetings, including meetings at client sites and shipyards.
- Promote effective collaboration between engineering disciplines and project participants.
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical understanding of Machinery and/or HVAC engineering.
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering projects, with project coordination or management responsibility.
- Experience in basic design is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Structured, proactive, and self-motivated working style.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
- Fluent English is required; Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage.
- Experience with 2D/3D engineering tools; CADMATIC or AVEVA experience is considered an advantage.
