About this role

About the role Wrknest is now looking for a Method Technician to join a high-tech production environment in Eskilstuna. The focus is on developing and optimizing manufacturing methods and supporting the introduction of new products and processes.

This is a consulting assignment for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension.

You will contribute as a specialist within your method area and play a key role in improvement initiatives and the establishment of long-term strategies. The role offers a broad scope of responsibilities and close collaboration with multiple departments.

Your future work tasks

You will work proactively to develop and implement manufacturing methods while supporting ongoing production needs. Your key responsibilities include:

Contributing early in product introductions and pre-studies

Driving efficiency improvements and spreading best practices

Supporting method and process standardization and compliance

Providing expertise to other roles such as article preparers and global support

Implementing and phasing out production tools

Educating colleagues within your method area

Leading department-specific projects for profitability improvements

Assisting in cost follow-ups, tool strategy, and investment planning

Ensuring accurate feedback on machining times to the article preparer

Participating in the development of NC-programming standards

Creating a 2–3 year method strategy

We are looking for

Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience

Proficiency in English

Strong knowledge of MS Office

Solid understanding of manufacturing capability and process control

Strong collaboration and communication skills

We believe you are either a mechanic with hands-on field experience or an engineer with a practical mindset.

Meritorious

Swedish language skills

Experience from method development or industrial process optimization
