About this role
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled PLC Programming & Commissioning Engineers to support ongoing industrial automation projects. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in Siemens PLC systems, automotive standards (preferably Volvo), and battery module (PACK) systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC systems
- Execute on-site and remote commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with Volvo automotive programming standards
- Work on power battery module (PACK) programming and commissioning
- Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Provide technical documentation and reports
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal / Step 7)
- Hands-on experience in commissioning industrial automation systems
- Experience working with Volvo automotive standards (highly preferred)
- Experience in battery module (PACK) systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to start immediately or on short notice
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with robotics integration or production lines
- Experience in high-voltage battery systems
