At Alan, Ops is a strategic function: we define the vision, build the systems, and own the outcomes that make our insurance and healthcare products work at scale. As a Senior Ops & Product Builder, you will own some of the most critical and ambiguous challenges in the company. You will shape strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, and build solutions with lasting impact on Alan's P&L and member experience. You’ll be among the team mates structuring this community. ⭐️ The challenges We are looking for a driven professional and entrepreneur with a strong operational background to step into our Customer Enablement Ops team: transforming the way insurance is administered at scale. Our goal is to make Alan the benchmark employer benefit, seamless for every HR admin and genuinely loved by employees, as we grow internationally . The job description is simple: you set the vision, make the hard calls, and own the outcome. Here are some examples of past missions that you could lead: Owning financial performance and building a global recovery engine: Tracking billing KPIs and recovery rates across our markets and establishing the right controls to catch trends and gaps early. Then going further: building the assets and partnerships that actively drive costs down, including designing a global recovery system that scales across countries and adapts to local legislation, and can be deployed when Alan enters a new market. With millions invoiced every month and high growth, the impact on P&L is direct. Making employee management as simple and automated as possible so our admins can cover their members efficiently whatever their setup. From building a DSN-based automated affiliation system, to scaling software integrations or bulk file import systems, making sure that whatever the channel or country, it just works. Deciding which flows to automate first, when to deploy AI, what to build in the product as well as building the monitoring infrastructure to run it reliably at scale. Supporting Alan's growth by scaling operations for its largest deals: As Alan bids on its biggest accounts, making the call on whether and how Ops can absorb the incoming volume. Understanding which capabilities need to be built first, when to externalize, when to leverage AI, what resources are needed.
