About the Role
Responsibilities
- Overseeing automation projects from engineering to implementation, testing, and final handover, according to schedule, budget, quality and HSE requirements.
- Acting as the primary contact in your area between SSAB and suppliers, report progress and manage expectations.
- Lead and coordinate your area suppliers and coordinate works with other areas automation team members.
- Risk management, identifying potential project risks, safety issues, and operational bottlenecks, developing mitigation strategies.

About the Role This is a role for an experienced automation project manager who is familiar of industrial automation deliveries. You will take responsibility for Balance of Plant (e.g. Water Treatments) Level 1 automation area — ensuring delivery according to schedule, budget, quality and safety standards. You will have support from your manager, other Technical Project managers and Automation engineers to success in this area. You will lead engineering together with our partner, execution, coordinate contractors and technical teams, manage risks and finances, and ensure strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.
